Campers check into camp on Sunday evening and stay overnight in our cabins until Friday afternoon. All resident campers enjoy swimming, boating, nature, arts and crafts, archery, challenge course, and special themed programming. Our overnight campers also enjoy evening campfires with skits and songs, dining hall meals, evening programs, and learning to live and make decisions with other children their age. Small groups of campers bond with one counselor for the week in our traditional cabins. For: Resident Camp is for children who have completed second grade and are no older than twelve (12) years old. Talooli offers a CIT program for campers over the age of twelve (12) years old.
Details: Campers arrive at camp Sunday evening and stay until Friday afternoon at 4:30 pm.
They have an opportunity to take Red Cross swim lessons, sing songs, play games, make crafts, learn to boat, meet new friends and learn about nature. Very high staff to camper ratio. Campers stay in cabins, enjoy evening campfires and count the stars. They can even take time to catch fish. Meals and snacks are provided. There is an RN on site and the camp is close to home. Transportation: Campers are brought to camp, there is no camp transportation for resident campers.
Accreditation and Licensing: By American Camp Association and New York State.
Camp Director: Camp Director: Damara Canery has been Camp Director at Camp Talooli for 2 years, after 7 years on staff at Camp Talooli.. Open House: Come see Talooli for yourself and meet some of the staff and directors. Open House will be held on Sunday May 2nd and June 6th from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. Location: Camp Talooli is located just 25 miles north of Syracuse in Pennellville, NY between Phoenix and Mexico. Follow Route 481 to exit 14 (Phoenix/Mexico Route 264). Take Route 264 Northeast toward Mexico and follow the green and yellow signs to Talooli. Directions to Talooli.

Counselor In Training: Camp Talooli also offers a leadership program for teenagers who are interested in working with children in a camp setting. CIT's must be thirteen (13) years old by June 2010 for entrance to the program. The program runs the same weeks as resident camp but has limited enrollment.
