The Teens in Action program is designed to build upon the long standing goals of Camp Fire USA which focus on teen develop as part of the solution to, rather than the problem of, today’s societal challenges.

Teens in Action leaders work with teens to design and implement service projects that will not only make a positive impact within their communities but also build positive self-esteem and leadership skills in the teens themselves.

While teens may do many service projects that focus on areas that may be familiar to them, the teens are also encouraged to focus on areas in which they might not otherwise have thought of and with individuals with whom they may not have previously come into contact.

The program helps to instill feelings of accomplishment which arise from helping others while at the same time offering fun-filled events which help the teens celebrate their accomplishments and bond with each other in ways that they might not otherwise have been able to experience in other types of groups.
